BIG NEWS! A brand new Aquae Sulis Retreat is opening at Fowey Hall in September 2008 allowing you to treat yourself to some pampering during your stay. The new facilities will include four spectacular treatments rooms with an impressive spa reception area, refurbished swimming pool and changing area and a fabulous hot tub on the new decking area.
We can arrange treatments such as aromatherapy massage, remedial/sports massage, Swedish massage, hot stones or reflexology. We are also able to offer a wide range of beauty treatments, such facials, manicures and pedicures.
Aquae Sulis Retreat treatments have been created taking inspiration from the Roman spa rituals, which merge techniques and philosophies from this ancient time with a contemporary attitude to health and well being.
With such a varied choice of treatments and therapies, we advise that you book in advance of your stay to guarantee your time for a little peace and tranquillity.
AQUAE SULIS – “Water of the Gods” was the name attributed to the natural mineral spring in the Royal City of Bath, as a way of showing recognition and gratitude to the Gods for the gift of this life-giving water.
